CASEMIRO'S SECOND RED CARD
Manchester United and Brazil star CASEMIRO received his second red card of the EPL season after a tough but tough challenge on the Southampton man at Old Trafford on Sunday. Manchester United will be without Casemiro for their next four FA Cup games against Fulham and Premier League games against Newcastle United, Brentford and West Ham United after the Brazil international picked up a second straight red card this season against Southampton.
Manchester United have decided not to appeal against Brazilian midfielder Casemiro's red card in Sunday's 0-0 draw with Southampton
Referee Anthony Taylor initially booked Casemiro for a tackle on Carlos Alcaraz, but sent him off after going to the TV monitor on the advise of the video assistant referee
United believed there was little chance the decision could be overturned.
FACUNDO PELLISTRI CONTRACT/LOAN OPTION
Note that Manchester United are now considering signing Facundo Pellistri to a new contract before letting him go out on loan next season.
The two sides have yet to make a decision, but concrete talks about planning Facundo's future will take place in April.
